Thanks to Stefanie & Gregor, I've grown to love Victoria. May 16th marked the beginning of my season this year and a sunny Saturday at Laurel Point was a perfect way to begin! The city was bustling! (apparently, Victoria is THE place to be for the Victoria Day long weekend, go figure!) Here's some images to tell the story of their day.
Outdoor ceremony overlooking the water at the lovely Laurel Point Inn I'm not sure what this is... but it was funny! McCaulay Point provided us a clear view over to the Olympic Mountains Then we were off to the British Columbia Legislature buildings, around the side for something different (and less tourists!) The bottle of champagne was bought just so we could do this... "just like when someone wins Formula One"
