In 2008, Mark & Steph along with 40 or so of their friends and family traveled to Italy (the town of Poppi, to be exact) to say their vows and celebrate under the Tuscan sun, I was lucky enough to be their photographer.

M&S live in Toronto, so it was only through Facebook that I "met" their new addition to the family, Leo.
After finding out that I would be in Toronto to visit my brother after shooting a wedding, Steph quickly booked a family session... and I arrived on an exceptionally rainy Sunday morning. As in, monsoon rain... it was crazy. Luckily, these guys have a fabulous house perfect for shooting in, and we ventured outside between the downpours...

Really happy with how the session turned out even though we skipped a cool location that would have shown the awesome Toronto skyline in the background. I'm enjoying photographing families in their own homes lately, it lends a very personal touch to the images!
