Leah & Mark's day was steeped in family tradition. It began with their ceremony taking place in the same church her parents married in, near UBC. We made use of the gorgeous treed boulevard before heading to the Roundhouse and George Wainborn park in Yaletown where the leaves were bright and colourful. The winds were biting, it was October after all, but the day was warm and full of love and emotion inside Brix for this much-loved couple.
Leah and Mark cut their wedding cake with an actual SWORD, their names were added to the engravings on the side!
It was awesome to run into Leah's brother, who was an emcee at a wedding I shot many years ago.
We even had a moment outside at the end of the night for some dramatic night portraits, my favourite way to end a wonderful day.
