Maureen and Kirk
Believe it or not, this is the first time any of my clients wanted their pets in their photos! I'm a dog lover, so I was sooooo excited about this shoot. I arrived in Richmond with dog cookies in my camera bag to meet Maureen, Kirk and their furry people, Jelly and Woody... and these guys have a prime photo shoot location right outside their door! Down the street is the river and across the street is this hay-filled shed that Kirk told me is used regularly by a photographer and models in bikinis. We spent a few minutes in there too, no bikinis though!

Dan & Danielle, Fort Langley
I've really enjoyed getting to know Dan and Danielle through their engagement photos
and when I woke up to such a gorgeous day, I couldn't wait to get to Fort Langley (one of my favourite places already!) to start shooting the wedding.
Danielle was enjoying every minute of the long-awaited day when I arrived at the salon.
After a truly lovely ceremony we headed off to walk the town. Friends and family had come in from all over Alberta and Saskatchewan, so we ran into lots of them along the way!

I don't usually start the day at the salon... but I wish I did! The staff at Milica were great!
The veil goes on... "it's real now" says Danielle
We stopped in at Eighteen27 Piano Bar and Bistro for a few quick photos. The staff at this place were so kind to let us come in and shoot for a few minutes! I wish we could have stayed for some chocolate fondue... yum :)

These guys know how to be themselves in front of my camera...
The debut of my thank-you signs! What an amazing sky we had! I can't wait to see what they do with these images!

Ian and Adrienn
It's always pretty cool to shoot engagement photos in the same place you got engaged! This is Ian and Adrienn at the lake in Harrison Hot Springs... where they got engaged. The water was freezing but these two smiled through it!
The wedding is coming up soon, at the beautiful Minoru Chapel in Richmond.

Emma & Felix, engagement shoot at Dundarave Beach and a fabulous candy store!
Emma and Felix are getting married in August, and we'll be doing some more urban photography that day, so we headed to Dundarave Village (West Vancouver) for the engagement photos.
We began the shoot in pretty much the coolest store, Frankie's Candy Bar
where you can get just about any candy you can imagine... even cake-frosting flavoured lip balm, yum! Then we headed off to the beach to shoot in more yummy surroundings, my favourite time of day, just before sunset.
Emma is all smiles, all the time, as you can see... I can't wait for the wedding!

I just fell in love with these old door buzzers... and the names that adorn them!

June weddings...
Katherine and Curtis had a wedding party kept me laughing all day. After a heartfelt ceremony we headed off to Riverside Park for some fun. They were up for all the crazy things I asked them to do, and we captured some fun images full of laughter.

I just love the way Curtis is looking at his new wife in this photo...
Katherine... looking smokin' hot before the ceremony!

Amy and Bill were married on a Saturday full of crazy weather... sun, then clouds, then a huge storm, back to sunny again! We managed to fit in some photos before the rain came down. Bill's two daughters were a huge part of the wedding and I'm happy to have been there to document the day that their family became complete. Congratulations!

Heather and Rob are celebrating 10 years of marriage (and have 2 of my most favourite little people in the world!) This goes down as the fastest photo shoot ever... done in 5 minutes before the rain started. Heather is a photographer so she's about as comfy in front of the lens as I am (which is, not at all!) but we managed to capture some genuine smiles.
Miss you :)
