On top of Grouse Mountain is always fun but this day was especially interesting. We met at the base bundled in wool coats and hats, unsure if the cameras at the top told the truth, showing a sunny day. About halfway up, the gondola broke through the cloud into sunshine. It was an inversion, meaning the cold damp air was trapped under the clouds and up top, people were basking in the rays. The wool coats and hats came off pretty quick and we enjoyed the unexpected warmth and a beautiful view, the entire lower mainland draped in fog. Can't wait for Holly & Tavish to be married in August this year!
Enjoy!
