Amid twinkling tea lights and a few snowflakes Sammy and Tairalyn said their vows in early December surrounded by family and friends. The rain let up just in time and just long enough to allow for us to shoot outside after the ceremony while their guests were treated to a 3D movie and plenty of delicious food. Enough chatter, here are just a few of my favourite images from this amazing day...
The wonderful Jayna did an amazing job on Tairalyn's already amazing eyes Tairalyn walked down the aisle to Ring Christmas Bells and it was beautiful with snow gently falling... totally rocking a mermaid dress and custom-made jacket... Decor was by the amazing and talented CC at Roa Designs in Coal Harbour. Elegant, imaginative, and beautiful. What a treat to see CC's magic in transforming a room into a Winter Wonderland. They even had a drink bar making specialty warm winter drinks... complete with names like Comet's Cocoa, Blitzen's Almond Tea and Prancer's Cider. Yummy. Just before the main course Sammy and Tairalyn surprised their guests with a performance by a ballet group. They danced to songs from The Nutcracker among some falling snowflakes... Then the party began! I love seeing Grandma's on the dance floor... The late-night table was pizza from Hell's Kitchen in Kitsilano. Luckily I got to the pizzas for a few photos before they were devoured by the guests... apparently they were delicious! Here I am at the end of the night! Sammy & Tairalyn... what a perfect way to end my 2008 wedding season, with a truly unique wedding and a day spent with wonderful people. Thank-you.
