Many of Nicki & Travis's wedding guests traveled to Whistler from Ontario, and just as Nicki had hoped, were treated to an amazing week of sunshine and blue skies for their time in Vancouver & Whistler. This was my first time photographing a wedding in Whistler, and what an amazing day it was. The bride and groom dressed at the Pan Pacific Mountainside surrounded by the amazing Whistler views. After the ceremony we held our shoot in a slightly off-the-beaten-path location (I do mean slightly, it was just off the main walkway between Upper & Lower villages) but it required some adventurous off-path walking (or maybe climbing?) Nicki and her sisters in their heels were such good sports about the trickiness of it all, with a little help from the guys!
Makeup was done by friend Vancouver makeup artist Anita Ho
Off to find the guys... the ringbearer gave us a step-by-step outline of how the ring portion of the ceremony was to unfold... and don't you just love the groomsmen's ties from Holt Renfrew?
"Goooooooo Apostles!!!"
Ceremony was held at the Edgewater Lodge, such a perfect Whistler setting with it's spectacular water and mountain views
3 gorgeous sisters...
One of my favourite photos so far from wedding season 2010...
Back to the RimRock Cafe for one of the most memorable wedding meals I've been lucky enough to enjoy. The menu consisted of lobster bisque, carpaccio, filet mignon, lobster and scallops, among many other delicious items, I'm just remembering what I ate...
Nicki and Travis danced to 'You and Me' by Dave Matthews and Travis danced with his beautiful Grandmother Nell before I left for the evening. Thanks for a memorable weekend of Whistler fun, N & T!Labels: Edgewater Lodge wedding, Rimrock Cafe wedding, Whistler photographer |
